WOMADelaide is a yearly celebration of music, arts and dance. The festival is usually held in four days. It was first held in 1992 in Botanic Park, Adelaide, South Australia. It is a part of the WOMAD festivals organization. The festival aims to create awareness and show appreciation of music from different cultures across the world. It is very famous in Australia because this festival encourages all ages from all walks of life. In 2008, it has won the Helpmann Award for Best Contemporary Music Festival.
This year, WOMADelaide will be held on Friday,10 March to Monday, 13 March.
