Just like when you were little, at school, and practised your spelling before the test the next day, the best advice we can give is to be prepared. The same strategy that you may have used when sitting the English language test; you will get the best results if you are prepared and aware of what you will be facing.
You will have heard from one friend that the test is so easy, that there is no need to practice, and another friend will say that it is very hard and that they needed to retake the test. The answer to that is to not rely on any friends advice or opinion, but to be certain yourself that you are ready for the test.
There are plenty of online examples of the citizenship test, including on the Department of Home Affairs website where you can also find the information booklet containing all the information you need to prepare for the test.
If you do your research and practice as much as you need to, you should have absolutely no problem with the Australian citizenship test. And, if you do, you just take it again! Stressing about the test will not help you. Preparation will help you feel calm and confident about the task ahead.
Good luck! You won’t need it!
