Wineglass Bay

Wineglass Bay is part of Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania’s east coast. It is one of the top 10 beaches across the globe. To get to this amazing beach, you would need to take a 2.5 hours drive from north from Hobart and south from Launceston.It is situated in the iconic Hazards range and bordered with pink granite peaks. With its pristine white-sand, turquoise waters and scenic mountain views, it became one of the most photographed view in entire island of Tasmania. ⁠

To get to Wineglass Bay, you can take a short walk from the camping grounds at Coles Bay which involves an uphill walk through The Hazards to a rocky lookout, followed by a downhill walk to the beach. The walk would take 2 hours from the entrance of the Freycinet National Park. There are a  lot of leisure activities to do here such as eco-cruise around the bay, kayaking and whisky tasting in Freycinet National Park.⁠
