Tasmanian Devil

The Tasmanian Devil is the world’s largest carnivorous marsupial. It can only be found on the island of Tasmania, Australia. It is known for its distinctive appearance, aggressive behaviour, and loud and vocalisations (coughs, growls, snorts, sniffs, screeches and sneezes).

Tasmanian devil is about the size of a small dog. It has a coarse brown or black fur and a pudgy appearance that makes them look like baby bears. It is very timid but becomes aggressive when threatened by a predator or defending a meal. It has a sharp teeth and strong, muscular jaws that can deliver one of the most powerful bites of any mammal in the world. It can open its jaws up to 80 degrees and chomp down with enough brute force to crush bone.
